Our Online Client Center enables you to communicate and collaborate with the lawyer or tax advisor responsible for your matter in a secure online environment. It is structured and designed to let you and our firm easily and securely communicate concerning your case, exchange documents relevant to your matter, schedule appointments and take care of invoicing for our services. Further, our Online Client Center lets you forward us the information for the formation of your new German company through our self-explanatory online forms.

The Screenshot above shows the Dashboard. The Dashboard is the personalized page you see when you log-in to our secure Online Client Center. It is your control center which shows you all your options for secure client-lawyer/tax advisor communication and document exchange. Through the tabs on the Dashboard, you can access your calendar, your documents, billing information, messages, and notes. Further recent activities and shortcuts to popular tasks are displayed (more information on these options please check out the following explanations under the numbers 2 to 7).

Here you can see the most recent activity in the Online Client Center. It shows the last activity you or our firm's staff has completed in the Online Client Center such as uploading of new documents, new messages or new calendar entries. This way you are always up to date what happened lastly concerning your case. By clicking on an activity listed here you receive further details on the named activity, e.g. you can display a document recently uploaded or a message that has been sent to you by the lawyer responsible for your case.

Here all documents are displayed that have recently been uploaded. By clicking on a document you can download it, comment it or upload a new version of the document. This way you can easily and effectively collaborate with the lawyer/tax advisor responsible for your matter. You can also access all documents uploaded by you or our firm's staff through the 'Documents' tab.

The Calendar keeps track of all your appointments and due dates concerning your matter such as a telephone conference scheduled for your case. You can comment scheduled calendar events and also have the calendar remind you of your appointments by email. The Dashboard displays the next upcoming calendar events. Alternatively, you can access the calendar through the 'Calendar' tab.

Here you can directly upload a new document to share with the lawyer or tax advisor responsible for your case who immediately is informed by email of your upload. Alternatively, you can access your mailbox through the 'Messages' tab.

This is the fastest way to send a message concerning your case to us. Instead of entering your mailbox through the 'Messages' tab you can click the 'Send Message' button and directly fire your requests at us. The lawyer or tax advisor responsible for your matter is informed by email about your message immediately.

PAY INVOICE

Through our Online Client Center, you can view and download the invoices for our services through the billing tab. This way the system lets you keep track of all invoices, no matter whether paid or unpaid. This way you always stay on top of your invoices and can comprehend what you have been charged, which invoices are due and which ones already paid. Further, through the 'Pay Invoice' button, you can directly pay due invoices by credit card through our Online Client Center.

We take the security of your data and the client-advisor communication very serious. We believe that the communication and collaboration between you and our lawyers and tax advisors shall be strictly confidential which cannot be ensured when using conventional email communication and exchange of documents. Therefore, our cloud-based Online Client Center uses bank-grade law firm security. Keeping your data safe is our top priority.

 

Physical Security

 

Our Online Client Center runs on Amazon EC2 cloud servers. Amazon facilities are nondescript locations protected by military grade perimeters. Physical access is strictly controlled by two-factor authentication and 24-hour security escorts.

 

State Of The Art Encryption

 

Due to our Online Client Centers state-of-the-art law firm security, all sensitive information is encrypted before it’s written to disk. We use 128-bit SSL encryption for data transmission and 256-bit AES encryption when storing data. Unique keys are generated for every item, providing an additional layer of security for your law firm.

 

Data Redundancy

 

Data is backed up using Amazon S3 storage, providing extremely high durability. We perform regular backups of the entire database of our Online Client Center and data integrity is validated on every individual update.

Our Online Client Center is built on top of Amazon’s EC2 cloud computing platform. They’ve got over a decade of experience in running online servers and data centers, so you know you can trust them with your law firm's security.
